All we can say is… thank you!
You helped us to an incredible first Give to the Max Day finish. From sponsoring members making their renewals a little early to donors who’d never heard of our cause before November 13, our community came together in a huge way: together, our supporters contributed a grand total of $31,436 for improved cancer care in Tanzania.
All of that money was doubled thanks to our matching grant, which means we’re walking towards 2015 with nearly $62,000 more in hand to turn our dream of enhanced cancer care in Tanzania into a reality. It’s not even close to all that we need, but it’s a start.
We look forward to sharing the impact of those donations with you in the coming days, weeks, months and years–because the importance of this kind of goodness isn’t fleeting.
Our first chance to do so will be on December 18, when we’ll host Stories of Resiliency–our annual member meeting (open to non-members and the public)–at HGA Architects & Engineers in Minneapolis. There will be food, drinks, music, company and stories from Northern Tanzania–and you’ll hear directly from Mark Jacobson (Executive Director, Arusha Lutheran Medical Center), John Reiling (FCCT’s president) and Charlie Wittmack (President of Charity Launch). You can check out more details and RSVP here.
