Family Care Hostel – Raising Funds

The hostel will offer shelter, support and hope for patients and families receiving cancer treatment at KCMC, eliminating barriers to care - including housing, bathroom and shower facilities. A shared kitchen, living area and children’s playground are part of the hostel plan.

Half of the needed funds for construction have been raised by other partners. Inpatient Ward – Complete

Completion of the inpatient ward is a major milestone in the development of the Cancer Care Center at KCMC. Construction was completed in November 2020 and the first patient was admitted in December 2020.
